Mina grew up on the wave-crashing, picturesque shores of Casablanca, where at the age of 16, she tasted a neighbor’s homemade Harissa and came to face to face with her destiny. Soon thereafter, she began playing and experimenting with the recipe, tweaking it here and there until she came up with a perfect blend that was uniquely hers. Mina’s take on the traditional Moroccan condiment contains the red long finger chilies as a base, with extra-virgin olive oil, a touch of vinegar, and some garlic to bring the sauces tangy-hot flavor profile to life. All of her inspired creations taste supremely fresh, vibrant, and exotic—like a souvenir from a dream jaunt to Morocco.
